Morningside College 2006 Homecoming Queen and King

Morningside College seniors Melissa Keiper of Lennox, S.D., and Shawn Robinson of Davenport, Iowa, were crowned Homecoming king and queen during ceremonies at Eppley Auditorium on Thursday, Oct. 6.

The 2005 Homecoming king and queen, Clint Corderman and Angie Meyer (second photo) were on hand to crown the new royalty.  Dr. David Chobar and Dr. Susan Burns were elected by students as the 2006 Homecoming faculty king and queen.

The royal court included (below, left to right): freshmen Erin Keitges of Allen, Neb., and Alex Weborg of Pender, Neb.; sophomores Kayla Weerheim and Derek Nolan of Hawarden, Iowa; juniors Emily Grabow of Fort Calhoun, Neb., and Jon T. Yates of Glenwood, Iowa; Queen Keiper and King Robinson; queen candidates Megan Wunsch of Garner, Iowa, Laura Andersen of Omaha, Neb., and Katherine Kromminga of Dakota Dunes, S.D.; and king candidates Tyler Woods of Davenport, Iowa, Brandon Mueller of Seward, Neb., and Jonathan Goodin of Sloan, Iowa.
