Miller Hall Quick Start
Miller
hall is on your computer. It is a web-site maintained by
Morningside College where your instructor can post documents, make
announcements, and ask questions. You can also chat with classmates
and participate in online discussions.
Logging on:
Find
Millerhall home page On campus by:
Clicking
on the link Miller Hall from the Morningside portal (found
under links
button)
Or
by typing millerhall into the address
bar of a web browser.
Find Millerhall home page Off campus by:

on the link Miller
Hall from the Morningside portal

Or
by typing this address into the address bar of a web browser.

You
will see a Blackboard logo and a brief explanation of what Blackboard is. There
will also be two buttons on the left side of the page, one
says User Login and the other says Get Blackboard Backpack.
Choose Login option
on this page to enter.

Instuctions
Enter student
ID number with the leading zeros
as the username.
If
you don't know your student ID number you can find it on your
Morningside ID card. Enter
password you chose as
the password.

Getting to your course
Once logged you should see the Morningside logo in the upper left
of the page.
Chose
your course under the heading My Courses to go to that course's
page.
Courses
are listed by course name.
Example:
If you were in POLS-341-1-0310 you
would find it listed as Women's Human Rights under
My courses.

Talk to your instructor if you have trouble logging into your
course. If your instructor can't solve the problem, call the help
line (274-5544).
