Blackboard
Login Page
The
blackboard login page is identifiable by several things.
- On the
left is the Blackboard system logo.
- Underneath their
logo are two buttons one says User Login and the other says Get Blackboard Backpack.

Log
in for Students
- Your
user name is your student ID number (with leading zeros).
If you don’t know what your student ID number is
you can find it on your Morningside ID card.
- Your
password is the one you have chosen in the reset process. If you do not recall your password please follow the below link for instructions.
Password Reset for Blackboard
- You
can change your password by clicking on the “Personal
Information” button on the “My Institution” page
of Blackboard.

Log in for Faculty
- Your user name is your email username. Ex: An email address of sampleuser@morningside.edu would have a username of sampleuser.
- Your password is the one you have chosen in the reset process. If you do not recall your password please follow the below link for instructions.

- You can change your password by clicking on the “Personal Information” button on the “My Institution” page of Blackboard.

Both Faculty and Student Organizations can request a Blackboard
course. To start this process follow the below link to request a new Blackboard course shell or to have an existing Blackboard shell copied to a new one.
