BETTY LING TSANG SUMMER FINE ARTS SERIES

The Betty Ling Tsang Summer Fine Arts Series is designed to bring a range of quality music and theatre performances to the people of Sioux City and surrounding communities at no cost to them. The series is named for the late Betty Ling Tsang, who graduated from Morningside College in 1940 with a bachelor’s degree in music. In 1999, her daughter Mila Tsang McDermott established a music scholarship in her mother’s name at Morningside to help other Chinese students attend college in the United States. The Betty Ling Tsang Summer Fines Arts Series will further benefit students and ensure that everyone in the community will have the opportunity to enjoy the music that was so much a part of her life. So come relax on the benches or bring a blanket and lawn chair and enjoy the concerts.
