Founded in 1894 by the Methodist Episcopal Church, Morningside
College is a private, four-year, co-educational institution
affiliated with the United Methodist Church. Morningside has
21 buildings on a 68-acre campus in a scenic, secure residential

NOTE: Morningside College is seeking comments from the public about the College in preparation for its periodic evaluation by its regional accrediting agency. The College will host a visit March 17-19, 2014, with a team representing the Higher Learning Commission of the North Central Association. Morningside College has been accredited by the Commission since 1913. The team will review the institution’s ongoing ability to meet the Commission’s Criteria for Accreditation.
