The Parents Council was formed in 2002 to develop and implement programs that involve parents in ways that are meaningful to them and beneficial to the college. The Parents Council is comprised of parents of current students or of former students who have graduated from Morningside. The council conducts its work through subcommittees that focus on assisting in the college's admissions efforts, in the development of various parent publications, and the planning of family events.
