Mustang Coaching Staff
Head Coach Lindsey Christiansen
Lindsey Christiansen is in her fifth year as the head cheer and dance coach at Morningside College.
She has been instrumental in developing both programs as the NAIA works towards making both competitive cheer and dance into championship sports. In 2013, Christiansen was part of a NAIA national committee that developed a more detailed plan for the sports with the goal to take them from emerging sport status to championship sport status by 2016.
In 2014, Morningside placed 2nd in the dance division and 2nd in the cheer-stunting division at the first ever GPAC Cheer and Dance Invitational. The event will be held at Morningside for the 2014-15 season on February 7, 2015.
For the 2014-15 season, both teams will compete in at least three regular season competitions before competing at the NAIA North Qualifying Competition. From those four qualifying competitions, 12 cheer teams and 12 dance teams will then advance to the NAIA National Invitational to be held at Midland University on March 13 and 14.
Christiansen, a native of McCook Lake, SD., graduated from Iowa State University in 2008 with a major in kinesiology and health.
Assistant Coach Ashley Eberly

Eberly is a 2013 graduate of Morningside and was a member of the Mustangs' dance team for the 2012-13 season.
She is a past graduate of Lawton-Bronson Community High School.
