1964
James L. Cuttell retired as president of George State Bank in George, Iowa, on Dec. 31, 2008. He ahd his wife, Charlene (Strand) Cuttell 1964, have lived in George for 38 years and have three daughters and four grandchildren.
1967
Marlys (Merrill) Conrad retired in 2005 following a 38-year career as a music teacher for the Red Oak Community School District in Iowa. Conrad still resides in Red Oak, where she is a substitute teacher, directs the Red Oak Presbyterian Church Choir, and works part-time at a local funeral home.
Seventies
1974
Jerry Foxhoven was appointed as executive director of the Drake Legal Clinic at the Drake University Law School in Des Moines, Iowa. In addition to his new position, Foxhoven continues to serve as director of the Joan & Lyle Middleton Center for Children’s Rights at the law school.
1977
Bob Kirschbaum accepted a position as regional fund development associate for the American Red Cross – Siouxland Area Chapter. He is responsible for fundraising and public relations activities. Kirschbaum’s new position comes after a long career in public school administration, most recently in Spencer, Iowa, where he was elementary principal. He was named Iowa Reading Administrator of the Year in 2001.

1980
Lynn (Acker) Pelton, a registered nurse, is a founding member and director of Greatest Goal Ministries in Bellevue, Wash. This organization was founded in May 2007 and is dedicated to responding to the various economic, physical, social and spiritual needs of the nearly 10,000 amputee survivors of a decade-long civil
war in Sierra Leone, West Africa. The mission is finding sustainable ways to reintegrate them back into society. The amputations occurred not by land mines but by the brutality of machetes and guns. Pelton is currently an otology and otoneurotology clinic coordinator at Virginia Mason Medical Center in Seattle, Wash.

Lori (Herzberg) Strohm accepted a position as the high ability learner coordinator for the Blair Community School District in Blair, Neb.
1985
Roger Jansen, head football coach at Sioux City Bishop Heelan High School, guided the Crusaders to a 14-0 record and Iowa’s Class 3A state championship during the 2008 season. Heelan defeated Decorah 35-10 in
the state championship game. Jerry Steffen 1986 was Heelan’s defensive coordinator.

David Harris is branch manager for the North Sioux City, S.D., office of Siouxland Federal Credit Union. Harris has over eight years of banking experience, along with several years of experience in customer service and retail management.

Jeremy Bullock is part of the finance team for Berkley Technology Services in Des Moines, Iowa. He started working for Berkley Technology Services in August of 2008.
