2000
Jim Guttau was selected by the Denver International Airport (DIA) to be a finalist in its art exhibition “Colorado: See the New West Like a Local.” The exhibition is composed of written statements about Colorado and original works from Colorado visual, tactile and sound artists; poets and writers; galleries, museums and cultural centers; and destinations that best illustrate the written statements. Guttau’s written statement was selected to be on display at DIA from April 2008 to January 2009, during the Democratic National Convention and the airport’s busy holiday travel season.

Janette (Hebert) Bentley is a provisionally licensed mental health practitioner-assessment specialist for Community Alliance in Omaha, Neb.

Jeff Beener is in his second year as a physical education teacher for North Mahaska High School in New Sharon, Iowa.
Amanda (Burnham) Eisele is a first-grade teacher in Port Orchard, Wash.

Brenna Larsen accepted a position as an international finance analyst for Pioneer Hi-Bred International in Des Moines, Iowa.
Bille Jo Walchek accepted a position as assistant marketing manager for SAGE Quick Technologies in Dallas, Texas.

Kristen (Schultz) Pudenz accepted a position as a performance consultant for Wellmark Blue Cross Blue Shield in Des Moines, Iowa.
Justin Thiessen accepted a position as director of marketing and public relations for the Cedar Riverside People’s Center in Minneapolis, Minn. Thiessen previously served as promotions director for the Minneapolis affiliate of Air America Radio, a liberal radio talk show network started by Minnesota's own Al Franken. The Cedar Riverside People’s Center, founded in 1970, was one of the nation’s first community clinics to address the health and medical needs of local economically and socially disadvantaged individuals and families, with a special focus on immigrants and refugees.
Matthew Wenrick is a systems analyst/administrator for Central College in Pella, Iowa. He lives with his wife, Denise (Zenor) 2005, in Des Moines, Iowa.

Jake Green accepted a position as a financial representative for Principal Financial Group in Lincoln, Neb.
Sheenah (Beavers) Tonga is a branch manager for Liberty National Bank in Sioux City.
2007
Ashley Bress is working on a master’s degree in women’s studies at The George Washington University in Washington, D.C.
Amber Clausen was appointed director of community relations for Opportunities Unlimited in Sioux City, where she will be responsible for marketing and development. Clausen was previously an account executive for KCAU-TV in Sioux City.
Rachel Lenhardt is the alumni/special events coordinator for Iowa Western Community College in Council Bluffs.
