The
Cooperative Institutional Research Program (CIRP)
Freshman Survey is administered annually to entering
undergraduate students at colleges and universities
across the nation. CIRP is one of the nation's
oldest and largest studies of higher education.
The
CIRP Freshman Survey collects a variety of demographic
and attitudinal data. Students are asked about
their reasons for attending college, previous year
activities, self perception, expectations, goals,
highest objectives, views, and career plans.
