College Students' Beliefs and Values Survey

A study on spirituality in higher education is being conducted by the Higher Education Research Institute (HERI) at UCLA and is funded by the Templeton Foundation.   The purpose of the study is to examine the spiritual growth of college students during their college years to identify trends, patterns and principles of spirituality and religiousness among college students.

In Fall 2004, Morningside College participated in the study by administering a verision of the CIRP Freshmen Survey that included the College Students' Beliefs and Values Survey (CSBV).  A total of 240 colleges and universities participated in this phase of the study.
