Life-long
learning is an important component of the Morningside Experience. Assessment is an opportunity for the College community to
engage in a reflective learning process for the purpose
of improving institutional effectiveness and to demonstrate
the desire to provide quality programs and services.
The
most important component of any college or university assessment
plan is the assessment of student learning. At Morningside
College, academic assessment is defined as the systematic
and ongoing process used by faculty and students to gather,
analyze and use information to improve student learning.
