| If you have already been assigned to an advisor in the department of your major, ask the department chair to assign you to someone else in the department. If you are an exploring student, ask the Dean for Advising to assign you to a new advisor. If you are a first-year student in your first semester, you will be assigned to a new advisor at the Spring Advising Transition Event. |

| It is partly correct. You can still take courses from four-year colleges and universities – if they are at the 200 level or above—but you cannot take courses at two-year colleges, unless you petition for an exception. |
